A collection of songs, loosely organized around a theme. Frequency is about twice a week. Until I retire. Then watch out.
Look, you're often not going to particularly like the music, but, boy, it's discursive, and I learnt things. I recommend Mercy (etc) for its enthusiasm, dedicated pan-generational "nicheism" – and why not get some music in your inbox every day?
Get smarter about China
Comprehensive and rarely too speculative on what transpires in Peking's corridors of power. Caveat: very insiderly and *perhaps* a little to "accommodating" but 100% engage and fascinating, even when you don't know what Bill is talking about, as I often don't. Bill Bishop challenges me on China. Respect to him for that.
